It’s been more than a week since 21-year-old Shannon Kleeman was murdered, and police don’t seem to have very many clues as to what happened to her.
Shannon’s sister found her body in the basement of her stepmother’s home in the 600 block of North Linwood Avenue in Indianapolis on March 28, 2014. She had gone over to the home after not being able to get ahold of Shannon.
Neighbors reportedly heard multiple gunshots that morning at about 9:30 or 10 AM.
According to HLN’s Jane Vellez-Mitchell, Shannon had been pet-sitting her stepmother’s two dogs and cat while the stepmother was in the hospital.
Police aren’t releasing much more information, and they haven’t named any suspects. According to a local reporter who appeared on HLN, police say they believe Shannon may have known her killer.
If that’s true and Shannon did know her killer, who would have known that Shannon was petsitting at the home?
Anyone with any info about Shannon’s death is asked to call homicide investigators at (317) 327-3475 or Crime Stoppers at (317) 262-TIPS(8477).
