A family camping trip quickly turned into a nightmare for one Idaho family, after their 2-year-old son reportedly went missing from the campground.

On July 10, at approximately 2:35 PM, Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about a missing 2-year-old from a campsite outside rural Leadore, Idaho. The family of Deorr Kunz Jr. said they were camping at the Timber Creek Campground when they noticed that Deorr was missing. The parents said they believed he was with his grandfather at the campsite and the grandpa thought he was with the parents at the creek.

Unfortunately, he was in neither place. The family told reporters that they searched for him for about 20 minutes before calling 911, and that they believe he was abducted.

A search of the 2.5-mile radius of the campsite hasn’t turned up any clues, and the Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office suspended the search and rescue efforts on Sunday. Deorr’s family says they will continue to search for him until he is found.

In the meantime, his parents are urging everyone to share his photo and help get the word out.

Deorr was last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, blue sweat pants, and dark boots. If you have any info about his whereabouts, please call the Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office at (208) 756-8980.
