A Nevada teenager has been missing for four days now, after his mom and younger brother were found dead from multiple stab wounds in their apartment last week. 16-year-old Adrian Navarro was not at home when police arrived, and no one apparently knows where he is. The victims are said to be 40-year-old Elvira Canales-Gomez and her 10-year-old son, Cesar Navarro.
Police found the bodies on Friday, after performing a welfare check at their Henderson, Nevada apartment. Elvira hadn’t shown up for work at the Venetian on Wednesday and both boys had been missing from school.
The family has told KTNV that they believe Adrian was either abducted, or perhaps witnessed the murders and ran away.
Police say Adrian is not considered a suspect. Adrian’s father reportedly lives in California and has not spoken with reporters yet, as far as I can tell.
I’ll update as this case progresses.
